New and innovative packaging for Tapered Screw-Vent®, Screw-Vent®, Tapered
SwissPlus®, SwissPlus® and AdVent® implants.
All product modifications over the past few years have been based on customer input
to make our implant systems more efficient and easier to use. The new packaging
has been designed to make the retrieval, delivery and storage of our implants much
easier for the customers.
New Packaging Details
Our new implant packaging consists of the following components:

Key Benefits of the New Packaging
- Simplified retrieval:
- The new packaging provides an easy access to the implant and cover screw.
- Implant can be easily lifted once the Fixture Mount Transfer has been engaged by
the implant driver. Cover screw is located in the upper portion of the Inner Vial
with the access hole for the hex tool.
- Simplified delivery:
- Touchless delivery system allows the implant, upon retrieval, to be carried directly
to patient’s mouth without any intermediate steps.
- Simplified storage:
- More compact, robust design allows for easier storage. In addition, clear labeling
and color-coding of Outer Vial caps allow for easy viewing of implant selection.
Each cap label shows implant diameter and length.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the new packaging incorporate all implant lines?
This release will incorporate all implant lines, except Spline ®implants,
which will remain in the cardboard box packaging and will be released in the new
packaging at a later date.
When will I see the new packaging?
The new packaging will be introduced gradually, in the following order:
Tapered Screw-Vent, Tapered SwissPlus, SwissPlus, Screw-Vent and AdVent
implants. For several months following the release, you may be receiving implants
in both the existing and the new packaging.
How are the Outer Vial caps color-coded?
- Tapered Screw-Vent implants: 3.7mmD = Green, 4.7mmD =
Purple, 6.0mmD = Yellow;
- Screw-Vent implants: 3.3mmD & 3.7mmD = Green, 4.7mmD
= Purple;
- AdVent implants: 5.7mmD Platform = Yellow, other AdVent
implants = Gray;
- All SwissPlus and Tapered SwissPlus
implants = Gray.

Note: Steps 4 to 10 are completed in a sterile environment. Use the tapered hex
tool with the thumb wheel (parts THX1.25 /THXL1.25) to engage the cover screw located
in the upper portion of the Inner Vial.
What is the return policy?
Customers may only return undamaged product in its original package (including
the Outer Box). Since the seal of the Outer Vial creates a sterile barrier, product
cannot be returned once the Outer Vial has been opened. Returns of the old packaging
for the new packaging and for product upgrades will not be accepted.
