Immediate Loading of AdVent™ Implants with a Mandibular Bar Overdenture Restoration: Technique from an International, Prospective, Multicenter Study

Immediate splinting and loading of dental implants at the time of placement in the edentulous mandible has demonstrated excellent clinical results, and provide the patient with a functional prosthesis from the day of surgery.1-6 This article will outline clinical procedures for splinting and loading four AdVent dental implants with bar overdenture restoration in the edentulous mandible currently utilized as part of an current 5-year prospective clinical study conducted at University of Pittsburgh, Boston University and University of Lyon, France.
