Zimmer One-Piece Implant Now Available in 3.0mm Angled for U.S.
Zimmer Dental Inc., a leading provider of dental oral rehabilitation products and a subsidiary of Zimmer Holdings, Inc., is pleased to introduce the 3.0mm diameter, 17° angled Zimmer® One-Piece Implant to the U.S market. All diameters — 3.0, 3.7, and 4.7mm — are now available globally in straight and angled designs.
The latest angled Zimmer One-Piece Implant uniquely addresses clinician and patient needs in very challenging anterior areas where space is limited and an angled abutment is required. Like the straight 3.0mm, the 17° angled version is indicated for use in the tight interdental spacing of the maxillary laterals, and mandibular central and lateral incisors.
The Zimmer One-Piece Implant combines the design features of the renowned Tapered Screw-Vent® Implant with the prepared margins of the Hex-LockTM Contour Abutment — offering a unique one-piece solution for immediate restoration with minimal or no abutment preparation. Placement of the Zimmer One-Piece Implant eliminates the need for abutment inventory, and the contoured prosthetic is expediently restored utilizing a corresponding line of caps and copings.
